Hi! I’m Miguel Sutedjo!
“Mig-well Soo-tay-joe, when will you get a real job?”
I’m a musical theater writer, music director, actor, pianist, and educator based in NYC.
Born in Indonesia and having lived in Germany, New Jersey, and Taiwan, I aspire to tell international and interdisciplinary stories that make people feel seen.
Up next: I’ll perform “Fly Mi Away” a concert program sponsored by Carnegie Hall's "United in Sound: America at 250" festival at the Museum of Chinese in America on April 17 at 7pm, featuring selections from “Fly Me Away: An Asian American Jazz Musical” and other original compositions.
